Nearly 20 years ago, GuideStar made unprecedented strides in nonprofit transparency by posting IRS Forms 990 online. The move transformed the nonprofit sector and allowed for greater accountability in the areas of compensation, giving, and program effectiveness.
GuideStar is once again pioneering a new form of transparency within the sector. On Monday, February 24, at 2 pm ET, GuideStar will host an “Impact Call.” The first of its kind, the goal is “to jump start the sector’s conversation on how transparency is defined and conveyed across the sector.”
